Backpacking Adventures
I've recently got the bug for some adventure and am trying to put together a 3-night back packing trip in the Grand Canyon, early September of this year. Destinations of choice are Thunder Falls/Tapeats Creek or Bright Angel Creek (read that they both can produce some good fishing). Leaning towards Thunder Falls, as it is not as popular as Bright Angel and easier to get a permit (hopefully). Hoping to get some suggestions/info on which one would be a better option...

Also, wondering if anyone would like to join? I am having a hard time getting people to commit to such a thing as almost everyone I know is not huge into back packing and/or fly fishing :( .

I haven't done any kind of serious backpacking trips since boy scouts almost 15 years ago. So, in preparation for this adventure I am trying to do a few overnighters this summer around the Rim and White Mountains. Chevlon, Canyon, Haigler, Black River are all on my radar for this summer. If anyone is looking to do some backpacking and/or fishing this summer, or if you don't mind me tagging along. I am looking for a PIC (partner in crime).

I have a lot to learn about fly fishing and remote backpacking. But, I am eager to learn and willing to put in the work/time it takes to gain knowledge and improve my skills. So if anyone is willing to teach me some things, their efforts would be greatly appreciated. PM me if you're interested!!
