If any of you would like to meet up some weekend for fly fishing at the Salt I'd be interested in meeting up at one of the parking lots. I was out last Saturday at Phon D Sutton late afternoon and tried orange/brown bugger & some dry flies.

I fished phon D on Tuesday and Wednesday. Nothing found at my usual spot which was odd considering the cooler weather. Found trout another mile down the river.

Flow is up a bit but do are the weeds flowing down the river. Dragging in weeds almost every cast uggghhh

Fished Phon D before they raised the flow and did well, after not so well with clumps of moss every cast.

Fish above the bridge this morning and caught 5, saw a lot of fish being caught in that area. All came on a black Simi Seal leach on a sink tip line.

Champ, were you fishing from the bank or wading or from a tube?

Wading, above the bridge just after the river makes the bend the water was only shin deep even with the higher flows. Swinging a black simi seal leach on a 24ft sinktip. Just around the corner where the river bends there is a deep hole that the trout and the suckers hang out.
