Rainbow or cutbow?

Hello guys. I went to Dolores river area in Colorado this past weekend. Creeking with my 15yr old son. Had a great time, caught this little guy in a hole with a bunch of brookies on a little stream. Kind of weird spotting pattern, almost diamond shaped. Is this 100% rainbow, or a little cutthroat mixed in?URL=http://s357.photobucket.com/user/elsinore401/media/WP_20170921_10_48_43_Pro.jpg.html]http://i357.photobucket.com/albums/o..._48_43_Pro.jpg[/URL]

Probably a rainbow. Did you look for the red marking under the gills where you would find them on a cutthroat? That's usually a sign of a cutbow.

can't tell 100% from the pic that the adipose fin is clipped but looks like it is...thus indicating a stocker which would mean all rainbow. Don't believe Colorado stocks cuttbows.

The adipose is there, just hard to see.

that's a rainbow

dbltea,

I think you are correct that Colorado does not stock cuttbows.
