Blue Ridge

Any reports for Blue Ridge?

I fished it from the shore about 4 weeks ago for a couple of hours. Skunked!

It hasn't been stocked this year according to game and fish.

That is correct. When I was out there I ran into some guys fishing from kayaks. Of 4 guys fishing only one hooked into anything. Said a big brown that they lost at the boat.

I fished it Friday evening during a monsoon and Saturday AM with a friend and our 3 kids. We had power bait, worms, and flies in use....didn't see any trout but fooled a bunch of sunfish and small chub (maybe?). The kids were in heaven. I've caught trout there before on dries and buggers but the lake had almost no surface activity, unlike my previous trip when I did find trout.

I have fished blue ridge more then I would like to admit. Only because we have a really cool camping spot down the lake that you can only get to by boat. Fishing has always sucked LOL. But its a nice camping spot lol. I die a little every time I go.
