    Hi Flygirl,
The guys at Bass Pro said you are the one to talk with about casting lessons...? Do you still conduct the lessons? Is there an minimum age? I have a 12 and 9 year old that are interested.
    Thanks

    Hi Flygirl,
I have info posted on smallstreams.com for the 9th annual Sno-Fly Midge swap. You would be tying 14 midges (any size and any stage of Midge represented). Midges are due to be sent in on December 1st. The Sno-Fly Midge Swap has become known world -wide as the annual shocase of midges. Would love to have you on the list this year. Reelsister (Avril Anjers) was on the list last year and I hope she is on it again this year. 2 of the boxes are donated (one to Casting For Recovery, and the other to Operation Healing Waters). Rick Takahashi and Jerry Hubka (Authors of Modern Midges) will be on the list this year. 11 of my Midges are in the book, Modern Midges. I am currently a Pro Fly Designer for Feathercraft and Rainys. There are many great and well known tyers on the list each year, and you can always count on getting a fantastic box of midges (what a nice Christmas present to self).
    Cheers & Tight Lines !!!

    Hi Flygirl,

I was wondering if you had any suggestions on comfortable wading boots. My husband bought me some last year and they are brutal on my ankels. We are leaving for Alaska in 3 weeks and I really need to find something more comfortable, since we fish from sun up to sun down...Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

By the way I am sending you this msg from my hubbys sign in...

    Thanks again,
    Wendy (dbksgrl)

I have a White River Fly Shop Conservationist Series 8 1/2 ' 4wt rod that I absolutely love. Unfortunately it broke last Thursday, just above the tip ferrule. I'm seriously bummed. Also wondering if there is any chance of a warranty? I don't have any of the paperwork on the rod, bought it about 10 years ago. I think this series was discontinued. If no warranty any rod in the White River shop with the same action?

    Thanks,
    Keith
