Ferry next weekend? I will be there camping 9 mile hitting the cicadas. Seem crazy to camp mid summer? yep but a cot next to the water is AWESOME! Come by say hi.

Kirk, I was at Munds Park( Odell lake) on Friday morning, the bite was not on for me maybe because I was not prepared for the type of fish in there (pike) and also it was real green and muddy,with a lot of weeds near the shore line. Perhaps a hopper dropper rig would have worked as well as some of the flies you use at upper Lake Mary for pike. I would also suggest wearing waders. as far as I know it is a man made lake and no water fills it except rain and snow runoff. There are small canoes and boats (no gas motor) so I guess a pontoon would work. There is little if no wind at all in the early morning, it starts to pick up around noon and through the evening. The name of the street is Raintree, turn right and take it down to the lake. Hope this helps. --Jesse

Kirk, it was nice to meet you at SW. I will be helping my friend on his property at Munds Park and will be leaving this Thurs afternoon. I will be up early Friday morning to fish Odell lake and will let you know what the conditions are since you mentioned that you and Jason are thinking about making a run out here. --Jesse

How was your trip to the River? Been fishing Boulder at Canyon. It's about ready to get started soon again. I caught one large bass but it was on a jig and no luck with fly gear for blue gill or bass.
