Thanks everyone! It was a lot of fun.

It went down like this.....we did the full accuracy competition 3 times. After the first round, the caster with the lowest score was dropped. Everyone still left then cast again. In the next and final round, the top two competed in a "head to head" round. The one that scored the highest won.

We drew numbers to see where we would compete in the first round. I was 2nd to cast. In the last 2 rounds, the person with the highest score got to go last. I had the highest score in every round.

I won a trip to the Green River and a Fish Pond rod bag.

I hope to compete again next year!

Nice job representing Cinda
We should have a casting competition for this website.
I think it would be Awesome. Personally I think casting is really fun.
I spend an hour in my pool or on the golf course working on it a week

I wouldn't mind trying with my 3 wt to see how well I would fare. I've had alot of practice casting dries to rising gills lately.

Yeah, that would be fun. I did the Swedish casting games a few years ago when they held it at the O'l AZ Flyfishing shop. Lucky for me there were less than a doz who competed and I got lucky with the 5wt rod I built and won it that day, and won another 5wt Redington combo. I use that rod all the time now.
