I bump into some more info on flyfishing trips to El Salto while I was on Dan Blanton's site

I know this was discussed a few months back so I know a few of you are interested

A pretty good report with pics on the booking agents blog

I have no affiliation with these guys. Mexico Bass has been on my list for a long time but always wanted to go with a flyfishing group that had at least one person that had been there before.

If nothing else enjoy the topwater Bass porn

Baiter....If you ever get anything going, let me know. I've been trying to get a trip going for years now.

If you go, You will never be the same. We started going about 15 years ago when I was strickly a bass guy. El Salto, Baccarac, Novillo, Obregon. Very tough to go back to 1 - 3 lb fish. I have not fished down there with a fly rod however. My biggest in Mexico is 15.2 lbs, and my best 5 that day was 59 pounds. My best 5 in the US was at Guntersville 43 pounds. It's a must go for anyone that loves big fish. Have fun!
