Addicted1....I'm sure that fly will fool some bass, especially smallmouth. One thing I would add is a weedguard or it may be a short lived fly. Where did you find the pattern? The body material looks a lot like simi seal?

Good luck. Remember Big Bass days is this weekend (I think)

On The Fly....the back and claws are zonker strips but the body is dubbed with some sort of webby material that resembles simi seal

The Bill Luke Big Bass Days are on at Roosevelt June 1,2 and 3. It is a money tournament that lets contestants use bait. It is a zoo! Good wekend to avoid Rosey.

Dub, you are right. perhaps Addicted1 has the recipe and can tell us what material was used.

i knew you'd spot your product on there. Yea it's dubbed with simi and then the zonker is held on with wire wraps. It was a crude model i tied around 5am this morning. The next one will have eyes on the bend of the hook and 2 zonker strips instead of one cut in half(not an easy task.)

As for the weed gaurds i hate weed gaurds. All they do is collect crap on the bottom and if you get stuck in a rock or tree there is usually a way to free it up. If not oh well, they make more rabbit strips everyday.

Yeah, I know what you mean about weedguards, especially subsurface stuff. I am not crazy about them either. I use them mainly on woody lakes as it is very hard to get unstuck from wood. If you put those weighted eyes on the bend that should help to make it more snagproof.
Good looking pattern
