Two words describe the campground:

1. Primitive
2. Huge

A few more words:

At least 50 acres, maybe more. Flat, treed and open space. Lots of room to spread out. RV's no problem. Nice tent sites. Fantastic adjacent fishing cut. You could walk to Earl Park.

I'll get details up this week.

The kiddo and I stopped by to check it out last week. The wind was ripping so hard it was blowing the lenses out of my sunglasses. Should not be like that in June fortunately!

This is where the campground is located:

Here is the view of the peninsula from across the lake near the dam:

Here is a brief slide show to give you an idea:

Well you will get plenty of advice on this group trip. Listen to it all and find what works for you. :)

Does the rezz supply firewood for this camp or do we need to bring some?

It is supposed to be furnished.

Also, there was quite a bit of down wood on the peninsula when I was there - doubt it is all gone.

Worst case scenario we mount an expedition down one of the nearby dirt roads with a truck.

Ok, strange favor to ask. Since I'll have a 3 and 4 year old with me (and being a paranoid parent) I was hoping to get a spot further from the water and further out from the main group (for you guys to get a little peace and quiet). If not no biggie, but if there is such a spot I would appreciate it. I probably won't make it up there till about noon on friday. Thanks, looking forward to a fun weekend.

Also if it's close to the wet bar and hot tub all the better!!!!
