no-no Perhaps [I]Russula emetica[I], common in western boreal forests. Don't eat 'em, they are probably poisonous. Best thing about 'shrooms is they sell them in grocery stores so if they kill you your heirs can sue the company and live the life you always dreamed about.no-no

Don't eat it. It is part of the Amanita family. The cap tells it all. It may not kill you but the trip you will take you will see Jesus and have a conversation with him. And, he will say WTF!

You can also lift it up an see the stem. Does it have a ring around it. Is the stem attachd to a bulb? Get a good bookl on mushrooms. There are too many good mushrooms to go messing around.

There are still a lot of old hippies in our mountains. Magic mushrooms abound in our mountains.

Gotta admit that it is unusual to see a thread in the "test forum" develop a life of its own. Almost a cult following. Love it.
