I've been watching this San Juan trip and wishing I could go. My wife's family has a trip to San Diego planned that same week. To make a long story short, my wife just got a new job and may not get the time off to go. I don't want to go with her fam. without her, so I just wanted to ask a few questions about the trip.

1. How much is it going to cost? I'm cheap, but will pay any necessary costs.
2. Is there still space? I know I'm late, but she just got the job yesterday.
3. What fly's would I need to buy?

Thanks for the info, I'll keep everyone posted.

Just depends, our room is $35 a night per person, add gas + food. I think tenpoundlunker has a bed availible. There will be some flies being handed out as Emerson said. Last year's trip I spent about $300, but drove with someone and gas was split. We also are getting there Weds, if you are only coming for the weekend it would be cheaper.

Notes:

Get someone to split a room (like the Fly Room @ the EH or at Abe's) and gas. It is a little under 500 miles from Phx. Mileage may vary ;)

A NM license and habby stamp will run you about $25 for the weekend.

Add food to the cost. Just contribute something to the potluck and your dinners are good, filling and cheap.

This link still show $24 + 5 for the 5 day plus habitat stamp. An out of state annual shows $56.

Where did you get yours? I am wondering if the link is out of date, or the vendor charged you for an annual.

I paid the 24 + 5 (had to pay the $5 AGAIN because I was too stupid to keep my license from August) in late October. I kept my license this time.
