Have not decided the course of dinner yet, but I'll take a look in the freezer. I'll also give ajdtiger a buzz and see if I can con him into bringing some 'dat brisket.

midges are really easy to crank out.

I can demo an nv midge and a black barr emerger (must haves)...
actually I can demo just about any of those san juan flies. so how about some suggestions?

I'm most likely in. Since Juanary is upon us, I'd suggest some small patterns. I'd be happy to demonstrate (with SJDriFli's permission), the stuck in the schuck. I also tie a deadly Zebra midge variant.

I have materials necessary for nv midge. just creamy white coats and clark thread (available at wal-mart-one spool should last a lifetime) krystal flash and black thread.

black sally hansens han is a good buy if you come across some...

oh yeah you'll want some really small hooks. I use mustad #24 dry fly hooks. not sure I have all that many of those. I will go pick some up though prior to friday.

This one is an easy tie. Materials needed are as follows:

- Juan-sized hooks (20 on down) in a 2488 or other curved nymph hook style.
- Cream thread 6/0 or finer - I'm not sure what that equates to in the new sizes
- White and rust colored antron on a spool - it is not thread and not really yarn. AZ FF sells it and I'll bring along enough to share for the T&L.
- A dab of head cement
