Heard today that they are starting to shut down roads/areas completely that are above and below the rim. Didn't get the specifics, but it sounds like all along the 300 road there are restrictions and some complete closures. Time to start a drinking club....anyone?

I heard from some FD buddies tonight that they are going to shut down the FS roads around Bartlett and Horseshoe within the next 10 days after they get that Jomax wildfire shutdown. There was even some grumblings about closing down the Bartlett road altogether by the end of March.

They should close the road to Horseshoe and Bartlett, that area is in horrible shape...I know I won't be going back there anytime soon, really sad to see.
