If you could only carry one fly for a lake what fly would it be? Not a spring pattern, or a fall pattern, but just one fly period what fly would it be?

Same question for a river and a stream!!!

Lake - Black flash wooly bugger.
River - Olive flash wooly bugger - Bead head
Stream - Caddis or small popper (either)

I've changed my answer a dozen times since starting to reply ....final answer:
Lake - Black Wooly bugger
River - Bead Head Hare's ear
Stream - Hopper

Well I guess since I asked the question, I should at least answer it also.

Lake- BH Brown bugger with a little Krystal Flash
River-BH natural hares ear
Stream- orange Stimulator

Not very elegant but you can't go wrong in Arizona if you're armed with Wooly Buggers (Copper/Olive/Black). Stream - beadhead pheasant tail.
