Indian and non-Indian Laws
Feb 25, 2020 - 11:47 AM - by Bucksnort
In 2018, I posted a thread about firearms on the Apache Indian Res. I got the responses I needed from some of you.

I have another question.

What about U.S. or Arizona highways running through Indian lands? Whose rights prevail? U.S. 60 from Globe to Show Low and Arizona 73 from 60 to Hon Dah come to mind.

Prescott Area Lakes
Feb 19, 2020 - 10:54 AM - by Bucksnort
I am late posting this thread. Because I am leaving tomorrow for lakes around Prescott, I need a quick response.

If you could choose one of the following lakes for pontoon boat fishing for trout, which would it be? Am I going too early?

Mingus
Lynx
Goldwater Lakes
Watson Lake
Fain Lake

After 40 years of fly fishing, one would think I would know all about this topic.

A neighbor, who does not fish, loaned me a book... [Read More]

Lee's Ferry Questions
Jan 31, 2020 - 12:30 PM - by jchar85719
I have a friend who grew up in AZ but moved to Alaska after graduating. He met a girl who is a kick *** angler and he has become an avid fly fisherman, in addition to crabbing, etc.

Long story short, he is coming back to AZ with the girlfriend in mid to late march and wants to take her fishing. I let him know that the mountain conditions on the Rim and in the White Mountains, in mid to late march are probably going to be adverse to fishing, but that Lee's Ferry might be a... [Read More]
