Lower Salt River
Apr 04, 2018 - 1:47 PM - by Bucksnort
I see so much information about the lower Salt, I don't know which way is up or down.

Will someone tell me where I can go to wade the river and when to go? I know I can wade at the parking area near the bridge on the Bush highway.

The Committee Punch Bowl
May 15, 2019 - 4:45 PM - by Bucksnort
Many years ago, an article appeared in an issue of the Colorado Parks and Wildlife magazine about how cutthroat trout may have crossed the Continental Divide. One theory is ice dams that would build up in creeks on either side of the Divide enabling trout to swim over the Divide.

Found - Box of flies on the WF of the LCR
May 20, 2019 - 2:20 PM - by MrPeach

After we parted company, I found this box of flies about 50 yards above the wilderness boundary. Based on part of our conversation I believe these are the flies he lost, but he... [Read More]

Crescent and Carnero?
May 14, 2019 - 7:52 AM - by bamboolives
Heading up to the White Mtns for 5 days this weekend/next week and planning on fishing Big, Becker and Greer lakes. Has anyone had any luck @ Cresent?

I understand Cresent and Carnero had winter fishkill and were stocked recently. Used to love Cresent but it has been unproductive the several years.

Upper or Lower Oak Creek
May 15, 2019 - 2:56 PM - by Tying2Fly
My wife and I are heading up north this weekend (May 17th thru 19th) to see my grand-daughter's final soccer tournament of the season in Flagstaff. They live in Cottonwood and travel to Flagstaff Sat morning. I'm thinking about heading up early Friday with hopes of getting some fishing in before we park for the night in Cottonwood. I know where I have gone in the past on the upper part of Oak Creek (been a few years), up to far end at cave Springs camping area. But how is it at the lower... [Read More]
