SaltH2O Trip to Mexico
Feb 17, 2019 - 8:50 AM - by FishingDVM
Can't believe I haven't been on for 18 months? Maybe I can....

We went down to Costa de Cocos in Xcalak, QR, MEX for Bonefish. Saw a lot of Permit but was not lucky enough to catch one.

Made a video....that's been awhile too. Thought I would share.

Jan 17, 2019 - 8:01 AM - by BunsbertMontcroffEsq
Does anyone know if Fossil Creek is open during the government shutdown? I know that this is the "no reservations needed" season, and also the season when one can catch and release fish for chub. With the government shutdown, wasn't sure if the creek was open or if the gate from 260 onto Fossil Creek Road was even open. The hotline just provides a recording with generic info, and a call to the national forest ranger's office is a voicemail recording noting that federal employees are... [Read More]
