Lower Salt River
Apr 04, 2018 - 1:47 PM - by Bucksnort
I see so much information about the lower Salt, I don't know which way is up or down.

Will someone tell me where I can go to wade the river and when to go? I know I can wade at the parking area near the bridge on the Bush highway.

Planning on moving
Aug 04, 2018 - 6:04 AM - by PaysonLazerLiner
I have finally come to the conclusion that I need to relocate from Az to somewhere that has a lot of awesome fishing close by. My general area of interest is the Pacific Northwest but no place in particular at this point. Probably Montana, Idaho or Oregon but I'm open to almost anywhere up in that general direction. So I'm throwing this new mindset out there into the wind in hopes that some of you may have a suggestion for such an idyllic place. I have subscribed to numerous fishing magazines... [Read More]

Rim Streams - Current Conditions??
Sep 19, 2018 - 2:09 PM - by BunsbertMontcroffEsq
Was wondering if anyone had been on the Rim Streams lately? I would like to head up this weekend, but will wait for conditions to improve if the water levels/flows are still super low.

I tend to visit the East Verde above Washington Park TH, Haigler from Fisherman's Point, and the C & R section of Canyon Creek, if anyone has info on those particular areas.

Of course, if I make it up this weekend I will report back what I find. Thanks!

San carlos
Sep 02, 2018 - 3:21 PM - by WILDWILLY
In September of 2012 the level in San Carlos dropped to 2403 and they had a massive fish kill.
The lake rebounded in the fall of 2016 and fished very well.
This June the lake dropped to 2395 which is 8 ft below the 2012 fish kill.
Today the lake has come up to 2400 ft but this is only 3 ft below the level in 2012.
Anyone have any information on the current situation at the lake ???
My only reliable source is no longer with us.

Crawfish Critique?
Sep 15, 2018 - 4:10 PM - by Hooty
Heading up to the Whites in a few weeks. Tied these on a #6 weighted jig-head hook. The idea being the hook stays up as it twitches across the bottom.
