Mosquitos
Jul 27, 2016 - 8:31 PM - by Bucksnort
In Colorado, there is the world's largest flat top mountain, which is roughly 10,000 feet in altitude and which holds many small man made reservoirs and natural lakes with lots of trout and, it also has mosquitos so big, the Red Cross uses them to carry blood for emergencies and I mean mosquitos by the zillions. The name of this area is called, Grand Mesa.

Anyway I have dwindled my kind of flies down to about 16, yes it could be less but I still have a problem like most fly fisherman. My question is if I wanted... [Read More]

Oak Creek
Jul 26, 2016 - 12:22 PM - by WminPhoenix
After hearing people talk about Oak Creek and what a great fishery is is, I spent most of yesterday hiking and fishing Oak Creek north of Sedona. Needless to say, the day was not productive at all. The few fisherman I encountered, all said that the creek has been slow fishing and more or less they were there to get out of the house.
I am thinking my next... [Read More]
